US Government transparency, direct to your Iphone!
This week, the US Government revealed its intention to release the recently passed Stimulus Bill, one of the most massive spending bills of all time, for download to Iphones and the Ipod touch.
This will form part of the Transparent Gov initiative, which enables ordinary citizens to see exactly what their government is doing and how their money is being spent.
The downloadable information will include:
• Clear and concise spending information regarding the Stimulus bill
• Applicable text from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009
• Easy to understand graphics that allows you to see how the money is going to be spent
All 1,000 pages will be made available for citizens to download to their Iphones.
