Last week, I returned from a successful workshop with UNHCR in Hong Kong.
In the midst of an outbreak of swineflu, when all around us hotels were closing and tourism was drying up, representatives from UNHCR’s offices in Japan, Korea, Australia and Hong Kong came together for three intense days of training that aimed to help define strategies for the organization in Asia.
My presentations focused on the development of mobile and new media strategies and were well received from the entire group who, never mind the swine flu, certainly caught an intense strain of new media fever!
