SOS Children’s Village 60th Anniversary Campaign goes live!

We’re proud to announce the launch of SOS Children’s Village’s 60th Anniversary Campaign, which went live last week!
The “SOS Childhood” campaign concept, which was conceived by the team at marceloiniarra.com has been launched in 15 countries so far and aims to highlight the organization’s commitment to providing a better future and happy childhood for all children.
A few months ago, we were asked to come up with three global campaign concepts that integrated radio with cellphones, as these were the media that would have the furthest reach accross SOS Children’s Village countries.
The concept that was finally selected was the “Global Radio Marathon“. This idea focuses on encouraging supporters all over the world to join the campaign via SMS or online through a donation, or by simply offering their support (and sending a hug!). The progress of the campaign would then be illustrated on an interactive, online map that supporters could follow.
Supporters can join the campaign by clicking here to make an online donation or just show your support by sending a hug to a child around the world! Supporters are also encouraged to send their own “Happy Childhood Moment” which can then be seen online via the interactive map, and rated by users!
