One hundred years after its invention, Nathan Stubblefield is finally being recognised as the man behind the mobile phone.
According to the The Telegraph, the world’s first wireless telephone was made up of a system of wire suspended between metal rods. A transmitter was then placed on a car or boat and as the vehicle moved nearer, a signal was sent to the telephone using magnetic fields.
As photographs of this mobile phone reveal, technology has come a long way since then…
The point is, the technology is available but we must change the way we think in order to make the most out of it. .. just like the guys in this amazing black and white photo. Can you imagine these pioneers in 2008 in action with 3G I phones?
