Health data to your mobile
Check out my interview with Adele Waugaman, the Senior Director of the United Nations Foundation and Vodaphone Foundation Technology Partnership at the 2010 World Mobile Congress.
Here, Waugaman introduces a new open-source initiative for mobile phones, called EpiSurveyor, which is a free mobile phone and web based data collection system that enables better collection of health data, and therefore better decision making, for health workers in the developing world.
Waugaman also discusses the mhealth summit, due to take place this November, which will bring together leaders from diverse stakeholder groups to strengthen health delivery within the reaches of wireless networks.
