Wanted: Wireless innovators for the social sector!

A new competition, The Wireless Innovation Project, recently launched by Vodaphone, spells a real opportunity to increase innovation and the implementation of wireless technology within the social sector.
The competition seeks to discover the best innovations using wireless technology that address the some of the world’s most critical social issues.
Applicants must focus on wireless innovation for one of five social issue areas: Access to communication, education, economic development, environment, health or one of four technical issue areas: Connectivity, energy, language and literacy, and ease of use.
The winner will be awarded $600,000 to fund their project.
